    Getting there: Assisi is 183 kilometers from Rome, and accessible via FS TrenItalia. There is also an international airport in Perugia, 24 kilometers from Assisi. Alitalia flies to Rome for approximately LE 3,050 roundtrip (one week stay), EgyptAir for about LE 2,400.

    Entering and leaving: Egyptians need an EU Schengen visa from the Italian embassy.
